About This Project

Our client was exiting a 6000sqft industrial unit and was faced with a £98,000.00 dilapidation claim from the landlord. The building had been sold three times while our client was in occupation. As we worked on the building 10 years ago and assisted with the schedule of condition, prior to the tenant taking occupation.

We were contacted again to help with the claim. They were aware of their obligations. We then set about bringing the costs down. 4000sqft of mezzanine floor and substantial racking was removed and cleared from site (free of charge). We then carried out refurbishment works internally to the offices and warehouse and externally cleaning the skylights and re-coating the cladded roof. We were with the tenant when they handed the keys back to the landlord’s surveyor, who signed off the works. Costs £36,000.00. Saving our client, a whopping £62,000.00.
